    What we do

Telecom is messy. We make it simple.

Most businesses juggle a dozen carriers, contracts and bills - across internet, voice, SD-WAN and the network gear holding it all together. It's expensive, fragile, and a full-time job no one signed up for.

Southbound becomes your single partner for all of it. We source the right providers, design the right architecture, manage the installs, and stay on as your team - for the life of the service.

    • Vendor-neutral recommendations
    • Single bill of accountability
    • Proactive monitoring & support
    • Renewals and cost optimization

    FAQ

    Questions we get asked

What does a telecom agent do?

We are an independent advisor. We assess what your sites actually need, source and compare options across more than 200 carriers, manage the install, and stay involved for escalations and billing questions. You contract directly with the carrier, and our compensation comes from the carrier, so our advice costs you nothing.

How is this different from calling a carrier directly?

A carrier representative can only sell you that carrier. We compare the field, including carriers you would not have thought to ask, and we stay with you after the contract is signed instead of moving on to the next quota.

What happens when my copper phone lines are retired?

Carriers are retiring copper networks and issuing discontinuance notices, often with about 90 days of written notice. Lines that support fire alarm panels, elevators and emergency phones have code obligations that a normal phone replacement does not satisfy. We inventory the lines, map the code requirements, and put a replacement plan in place before the shutoff date.

Do you work with businesses that have many locations?

Yes. Multi site connectivity is where most of the complexity and most of the wasted spend lives, including inconsistent circuits, duplicated contracts and renewals nobody is tracking.

What does it cost to work with Southbound?

Nothing directly. We are compensated by the carriers and providers we place business with, and pricing to you is the carrier's pricing.
